NACA At The Spring Fling

NACA held its first stand at this years Spring Fling on the 16th April 2009, this annual event at the Norfolk Showground, Costessey, Norwich which again brought out the crowds.

This year we were partnering the Environment Agency next to thier stand and with our guest for the day Mark Barrett gave ground bait making and launching demonstrations, our team gave demo's on the life cycle of the worm, following the 'food to fork' theme, and also gave out information about the Association, and our Bawburgh Open day on the 7th June 2009.

The educational part of NACA stand was of dendrobaena worms. Samples of eggs, baby worms, young worms and mature dendrobaenas were on display with Judy & Dennis explaining their growth and use as bait for anglers. A display board gave some in depth biology of the worms and information on using and making one's own composter.
